  • The Hunger Games!

    My students absolutely LOVED The Hunger Games! We had such a great time during this novel study and it was an exciting introduction to dystopian literature for many of the students. We read the book and then watched the movie and both were such a hit! The majority of my class were begging to read the next book in the series. I had to make a waitlist for it, which just brought so much joy to my heart!

    At the end of the year, I always ask students what their favorite book of the year was. This year, it was by far The Hunger Games. I couldn't have made this happen without your generous donations!”

Providing them with a library that reflects their families, cultures, and backgrounds will help them feel accepted and valued. My students love to read and some of the books you see here were specifically requested! Many of my students do not have a way to access high-interest books at home, and the only way they receive new titles to explore is through school. Help me make all of their literary dreams come true!
