My second graders need books! Reading is a fundamental skill that cannot be overstated. An engaged learner is a self-motivated learner! My students are interested in mystery type books. The Who Would Win series are based on animal science and the Magic Tree House Merlin Missions are fantasy with an element of learning about history, science, or other topics. They are quality books to hook my students' attention. Please help my students discover the joy of reading! The biographies will help the children learn about famous people, events, and aid in writing biographies. Please help!
