My students need art supplies to be able to color maps and take and draw notes about the different countries we study. We work daily in our interactive notebooks and draw and color illustrations to help them remember concepts and they also use the interactive notebook as a study tool. I draw illustrations for the class to better visualize the concepts that I teach. I also use art supplies to make anchor charts that stay posted in the classroom that serve as reminders for students as well. These illustrations and anchor charts really help my English language learners and my special education students.
