These materials will help make a difference in my students learning because it provides a more safe and secure environment. Being able to teach knowing that my student won't be able to run out the door into potential traffic or unfamiliar neighborhoods will make teaching more enjoyable. Providing sensory toys to help the student stay calm and process what is being taught makes a HUGE difference when teaching a class to students who have special needs. One student that has a meltdown can potentially become unsafe and very hard for the rest of the students to focus. Which is why all these items will help each student reach their maximum potential of learning.
