Students will use these resources in class to increase their literacy, science, and teamwork skills through fun and engaging activities. Kindergarteners will develop and strengthen their literacy skills as they manipulate letter tiles to create and spell words. They will engage in reading as they read short stories containing the patterned word family. They will engage in reading as they match picture tiles to decodable sentences. Students will use their creativity in science and engineering as they use toy building supplies to create and engineer small bridges, buildings, and cars. The classroom will become a laboratory for engaged learning!
