The donations from this project will help teachers and peers collect formative data as the students learn mathematical concepts. With the iPad bundle and drawing table monitor, the students will demonstrate by drawing shapes and completing mathematical problems on a board. The classroom already has a whiteboard that will connect to both tablets. Students still desire to learn mathematical concepts, in light of the recent educational experience, due to COVID-19. Students appreciate learning and sharing by displaying their work on the board with other students. Tablets will allow them to work collaboratively and express their thoughts on the board by using the screens on the tablet. Summative data plays an important role; however, formative information is critical. Teachers and peers need to collect data about where the students are in their learning, provide feedback and give them the skills required to pass the summative assessment.
