    Students are reading daily and using the book bags to store all of their texts in English and Hmong. The stickers are helping students keep track of daily books they are reading. In addition, the stickers help motivate students to read daily to reach their reading goals.

  • Learning With Whiteboards

    Thank you so much for the white boards and markers! We were able to replace our old white boards with new white boards. Students are learning everyday with these whiteboards. It allows me to do quick checking for understanding with my students. Students are using them to write letters that represents the sounds they hear in words daily. We are on our way to become great writers and great readers!

  • Read & Learn

    Thank you so much for your donation! We received the new books, and now have a small classroom library ready for students to borrow books and read!

    We read everyday! When reading, we practice letter sounds learned during the week, or learned since August. Students now have a variety books to choose from, and can decide on the books that interests them. Students can choose a book from our new library weekly, and keep it in their desks. They can read that book, along with other paper books they have collected from practice book lessons, and of course their regular school library book.

    I have 3 super readers, and they love the selection of books we have in our new small classroom library!”

    The students were so excited to receive their brand new whiteboards! They couldn't believe how clean it was, and how cool that it has lines on the others side to help them practice writing. We have been putting the whiteboards into use daily!

    Students now have a box just for their math manipulatives. They can separate their school supply tools from their math manipulatives. That is so awesome!
