Hands-on learning through play is the best way for young children to learn. When Covid started our dramatic play area was restricted from anything with fabric. This took all the dress-up clothing and soft dolls that were available. These items will help our students play in a fun and appealing way to teach about diversity and working together. Dramatic play helps children develop an understanding that there is more than one way of doing, being, thinking, and playing. This year, I have larger, more diverse classes. Children from places around the world with differing abilities. Having more materials that the students can identify within the classroom will help them all feel included and part of our community.
