I am a brand new teacher starting this year and I am having trouble filling my classroom with the materials that will help me and my students be successful. While it is true that excellent instruction can be achieved without fancy gadgets it is certainly much easier and more efficient for my students to have their own headphones to assist them in their learning. Because I am a new teacher I have not yet accumulated many of the basic things that my students should have in a normal math classroom. There are enough barriers to learning that having enough supplies is not something that I would like my students to worry about. I am hopeful that my students will be given the proper materials for learning so that we can take full advantage of the online resources that are available for us.
