I am requesting the Oculus Quest Virtually reality system to help my students engage with the Earth in my 9th grade Earth Science and Marine Biology classroom. Field trips are an invaluable experience when learning Earth Science, and about the oceans but these trips are not always possible in the secondary classroom. Through the use of virtual reality technology I hope to bring the world to my students in a way that will engage and excite them. As students use this technology to encounter the Earth, the ocean and the universe in a new way I hope to ignite their curiosity and build a deeper desire to learn about their planet.

About my class
