Students with low vision, communication disorders and reading challenges have difficulty engaging in reading material with their peers. Using enlarged books with objects to represent different story elements helps them access fun stories and develop a love for reading. As I read these stories, my students will be able to see, touch and hold the different story parts to demonstrate their understanding and develop the joy of reading. Engaging materials like book kits help bridge the gap for students whose brains work differently than most. Let's create more opportunities for learning for all students!
