Help support Ms. Kim B's Classroom

Due to COVID-19, students lost access to literature; these books will continue their experience reading and analyzing classical literature for their grade. The texts are to be part of our literature study program and will provide students with high-quality literature for study. They are excited to learn from and read classical literature and would greatly enjoy The Secret Garden, Tuck Everlasting, and The Giver. All of these books have been chosen with the students' interests and abilities in mind. The students will use the classical texts as novel studies, analyzing character development, plot formation, and resolution to conflicts. They enjoy pulling apart text to see how all of the pieces fit together and anticipate what might happen next in the novels. My students have already shown great interest and analysis of a novel of a similar structure and have requested more like it.
