We are a first-grade class. All of our students have Chromebooks. Some online assignments would be better done with headphones for better concentration, especially in the classroom. Students can read books online and understand what is asked better. Since it is a first-grade class, the use of colorful pictures and printouts can make it easier for students to comprehend what is asked and be more engaged not only to the task but also to all that is printed and used on our walls. We rarely have color printout worksheets or flashcards, it is expensive to print them in color and there is only a very small amount of copies that our school can provide.
