Calling all prospective aerospace engineers, astronauts and pilots. We would like to start your training in our classroom. As part of the robotics curriculum we have planned to introduce students to the career of Unmanned Aerial Systems. This will be a stepping stone for the next phase of their high school career in the aviation pathway. In this class students will be introduced to the current Federal Aviation Administration Small Unmanned Aerial Systems laws and standards, Understand how weather impacts UAS flight, understand how drones are used in real world applications and understand the ethical and social responsibilities associated with flying an UAS.
