The paint, brushes, and canvases I am requesting will be used to help students express themselves. I have seen that many of these students use painting as a sense of relief. I have tried to provide as much as I can, but art can be expensive. Many of the students are so good at art but they keep to themselves. They are so passionate about their drawings, it is a shame that they hardly share with anyone what they paint or draw. I want to be able to provide them with materials that they can use to show off their skills. "One picture can say a thousand words." Let the students speak through art. I am planning to do a painting project where the students will paint something that represents their life or who they are. This will help with their self-growth, share with the world what the can do and help others step up to share what they can do.
