In order to provide a good teaching, my project as a teacher is to organize the material I use for my students. Every week in my French DLI class, we are learning about different themes in literature and we are learning about different topics in science. I use a lot of materials to provide help to my students (picture cards, word cards, pictures, games I built, and flash cards). For my project, I will organize every lessons, activities, and worksheets for my students by topics and themes. Each topic and each theme will be well arranged in binders with their corresponding items and materials. I will put work sheets in sheets protector, games and cards in pencils pouches, and materiel for building lap book or different constructions in the binder pouch folders. I will use blue binders for literature and white folders for science. I will put in each binder the lesson for myself and all the materiel for my students. For example: -In literature, we use for each theme: the French book, lesson, picture cards, word cards, bingo, hidden words, text to read with a partner, specific objects, and worksheets (on which they will write the vocabulary, sentences, and draw to explain what they read). -In science, we use for each topic: lessons, worksheets, posters, picture cards, material for manipulative activities. By organizing every lessons, activities, and worksheets by themes and topics, my students will benefit from a better learning experience.
