Students have been so isolated in this time of COVID! Our students come from different schools and have the added challenge of getting to know each other when they arrive at our school. The reading/quiet game area will be an ideal place for students to congregate in small groups, get to know each other, and have a place to hang out and socialize again after being isolated during this pandemic. Currently, we don't have a space quite like this. Our library has books that would start discussions and social games that would be great for this purpose, but our library is small enough, we can't divide the space into academic and social areas. Just outside the library, there is a space that would be ideal for hosting reading/discussing books or quiet games in small groups.
