With your help, I think the things I have picked for this project will directly improve the instruction and interventions that my students receive from me. The materials I have requested will improve the quality of help I can send out to my students in their virtual math course. Because my students all work virtually, they mainly request help through videos that I makes for each one of them personally. Right now, it's hard to make these videos because I have to use my mouse to "write" out my math problems and show the work. The iPad, pencil, and accessories will allow me to write my work as if it were on a piece of paper, making it much clearer to me and my students. While the iPad and accessories will help with my videos, the second monitor is for my tutoring sessions. I would like to have two monitors so I can see my student (in my virtual classroom) and see the work I'm writing out while we do problems. I think this will help my tutoring sessions be more effective because I will be able to read my students facial expressions and body language while I explain a problem to them. It will help me be sure that they are understanding. COVID-19 has really disrupted classrooms across the nation, and my virtual course is no exception. With your help and these materials, I will be able to better instruct and intervene with my virtual math students. Thank you for making this opportunity possible, and for taking the time to review my project.
