After Covid 19, all the students in my class got computers. They were supposed to bring headphones from home, which didn't happen. Many families struggle and can't afford them, especially with microphones. Giving them individual headphones with microphones will enlarge the activities we can do in class with language. Recording readings and telling their own stories to others will engage them and make learning in a second language meaningful.
I also teach math and good activities like imagine math and imagine learning need headphones, so every student can work at their own pace. The weighted blankets will be used to calm students who may be experiencing anxiety.
