After having to stay home and do everything online, students need to have more hands-on projects. In the past, we have used Slinky's for the lab, but they break down after one or two years. The springs I have requested will make the lab last for more years and help the students to see the waves easier. Springs hold their elasticity better and show the wave movement easier. The elasticity helps the students feel the energy moving from one end to the other. The more tightly bound rings help students see the movement of the wave as it travels through the spring.
