One of the main things 3rd graders need to learn is the basics of multiplication and division. I am requesting different learning materials to help me teach these concepts. During COVID-19 students haven't been able to use the math manipulatives as much as usual because of the worry of spreading germs. With the Smarties, students will be able to have their own manipulatives to learn multiplication and division. I am also hoping that the math and reading games help students with their social interactions with each other. I have spent the last year and a half telling students to keep their distance from each other, now I have to teach them how to play nicely with each other again.
