Due to Covid-19 students need more resources to take a break from academic work and fulfill sensory needs. The children with special needs in my class have a better day when there are activities that allow them to go outside or to take a break with sensory items. Students need the fresh air and ability to sit and rest on a bench inside the inclusive playground at our school. Many students transitioning back to the school setting have had a great need to find calming strategies through pressure and weight to make their day successful within the classroom.
