Students will use these calculators in the classroom daily. This will provide low income students the use of a great calculator without the stress of buying one. If we had these calculators, my classroom would be more unified. Teaching the steps to solve the pythagorean theorem, radicals, exponents and simplifying fractions can be very challenging when students are using 10 different types of calculators. These calculators would help me to teach simply with one explanation. Middle school is the best place to help students get caught up and really excell at math before they struggle in high school courses and college. With these user friendly calculators I hope to help my students love math and get caught up before high school.
