Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. During COVID-19 students worked in the comfort of their own homes and recreating this comfort not only helps students feel comfortable and safe but taking charge of their environment allows them to be more involved in their learning. With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level. My students are at a variety of reading levels and finding books that engage them in reading helps them improve. I have noticed that my students are much more will and excited to read when I have a variety of books. The last requests are for supplies that will help them do their best in school whether physically or academically. The supplies help with their behavior so they can be in their least restrictive environment.
