Having leveled books in my classroom will allow me to teach each student on their individual level- according to their needs. These leveled books are so important to the students because many of them are behind where they should be at this time because of the pandemic. The leveled books will allow me to teach specific skills to students, filling in the holes in their literacy skills. Reading is an essential skill for students to acquire, but it doesn't come easy to everyone. Teaching students on their individual level allows the teacher to target the skills each student needs to progress and be successful.
