These resources will allow students to get their own copy of the book to take home with them if needed and to show students how science and English connect. This will allow them to apply their knowledge in multiple subject areas. We have done this in the past with our GT students and kids are super engaged and apply principles learned in science to the book we are reading as a class. Kids get so engaged that they cannot wait to read the second book. This is part of the reason we chose to do a book with a sequel.
