1st grade students are busy and they need to move. My students learn better when they are using hands on experiences. Please help us to learn while having fun! I would like to make our STEM and center time more engaging for my students. I like to split my class into small groups when we are doing center time. When we do centers, they are using iPads to enrich their learning and we need new headphones for them to use. I also put a group onto learning games that will help them review what we have learned. And then my third group comes to my table and we write on the dry erase circles to review our learning concept (high frequency words, spelling patterns, etc). Later in the day, we do our STEM buckets. Each bucket has STEM things in them that will help the students to explore and use their imagination. This is my students favorite time of day! Each day their table chooses a different bucket. I would like to purchase more options of what I can put in our STEM buckets. I want them to explore and to be engaged. I like to use STEM and center time to expand my students thinking and help them to use their imagination. Please help me to provide some engaging choices that will help my 1st grade students!
