My students, ages 3-5 will use light to explore and learn through different materials, shapes, letters and more. The light table provides hands on opportunities to reach out to all the different senses of these little learners. This will be set up like a center in my classroom where students can explore to increase their knowledge through appropriate hands on activities. Learning letters and shapes is extra exciting when discovered through play in center time activities. Some of my students with special needs learn best through strong sensory exploring activities and the light table and manipulatives will provide just that. We will take pictures of learning activities with the light table and letters traced on the light box to send home and share with parents.
