I have had the opportunity to do LETRS training through the state of Utah and am very excited to implement the methods of instruction in my classroom. Unfortunately, I do not have any of the necessary supplies to properly do justice to the training I have received. If my students had these reading manipulatives, I will design lessons around their individual learning needs using LETRS strategies and instruction, that will help my students gain confidence in their ability to read and comprehend stories and passages. Students will have small group and whole class opportunities to gain reading skills that will serve them for the remainder of their lives.
