Many of my students are struggling to stay caught up on lessons due to sickness, quarantine, or long-term absences. I have been recording the lesson videos for students who are unable to attend school in class. Often students come back to school after being out without the opportunity to access the lessons at home due to unreliable internet or lack of devices, so they need to watch the lesson video in class. The headphones will help provide access to those students who have limited at-home resources and help them be successful. Video lessons are also available for students to watch if I am out of school due to illness when subs are in short supply. In my math classroom, we are also lacking pencils, erasers (there are never enough!), and other much-needed office supplies such as a paper trimmer, a reliable stapler, and a hole punch. These items will also be put to great use! Due to our growing population, I have another teacher using my room during my prep period, so I am on the move! The rolling cart would be helpful for me to get my items to wherever I am located in the building.
