Many of my students are returning to the classroom after a year and a half of virtual learning. They have missed out on the fun and excitement that is generated in a classroom full of their peers. During virtual learning they did not have the resources to experience math, these materials will be used to help my students better grasp and understand math concepts, and have fun while they are learning. They will get cross-curricular opportunities as they experience math through reading and hands-on exploration. These students need the opportunity to feel successful in math. They need to be able to manipulate algebra tiles, see story problems in action, and begin to understand the importance of math in everyday life.
