COVID-19 has created many learning gaps in my classroom. The manipulatives and activities requested will help give my students hands-on engaging activities to get them excited about learning. The math manipulatives will be used in small groups and interventions to help bridge the gap that COVID-19 created. The ELA manipulatives will get students excited about reading and writing and will be used to help differentiate instruction. The STEAM/STEM activities will be used to get them excited about science and STEAM/STEM. When students are having fun, they will be more excited about learning and coming to school. I believe these games and manipulatives will help bridge the gaps and relieve anxieties that students have been experiencing since COVID-19 interrupted their educational experience.
