The chosen materials will allow students to be successful in the classroom in multiple ways. I chose alternative seating options in hopes that students will be able to choose a comfortable learning environment for themselves. My goal is to have students in multiple, collaborative groups throughout the day. I believe alternative seating gives students a choice and allows them to be more independent in how their learning takes place. In these small groups, students will be working on Math Facts. These critical multiplication, division, and fraction skills will be taught in a more hands-on way with the resources I have chosen. This goes back to reiterate the point that students learn in a variety of ways and I need resources that apply to all learners in my classroom. It is my goal to meet the needs of every student, no matter their learning background.
