  • Smooth Running Room!

    Funded Aug 14, 2024

Thank you so much for your kind donation! My students were so excited when they saw all the wonderful supplies, especially the new classroom mailboxes! I had multiple students whose were very excited to help put the shelves together.

The headphone were an amazing help with the students and the computer programs that we use in classrooms. The pencils, markers and highlighters have been put to good use in our classroom! The sheet protectors have been wonderful as we put together our data binders in preparation for the students tracking their own progress through the school year.

Thank you again for your wonderful donations!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Peterson

  • Books Open a World of Possibilities!

    Funded Jul 8, 2023

Thank you so much for your donation to our classroom! The students were so excited to see all the new books added to our library. It is so fun watching the kids get excited for our class reading time. They love to open up a book and just read!

Many of the books have been read a number of time already with the students putting one of their favorites on display for others to see what they think is good. People like you help kids take adventures to a different world when they are able to read and enjoy a moment of quiet reading. Thank you again!”

  • Hands-on Learning!

    Funded Oct 26, 2022

Thank you so much for your generous donations! The kids were so excited to see all the packages come into the classroom. They are really excited about all the space books and the solar system magnets! They helped make learning the planets fun! They are also excited to start our graphing unit and use the graph whiteboards! One of the themes in our room is everyone is different and we all learn differently and that is okay. We strive to better ourselves so the motivational posters fit in the classroom atmosphere just right! Thank you so much for helping my students!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Peterson

  • Adventure Awaits!

    Funded Jan 23, 2022

Thank you so much for your generosity and all that you have done for our classroom. Seeing the kids excitement as we opened the boxes together was such a treat. The art materials, books and supplies that were donated made the kids feel so special that someone would give our class such wonderful materials.

Our class library originally consisted of just a few books that they kids had no interest in reading. Once the Harry Potter and Percy Jackson books were opened up, the kids started a wait list to read them. One student is 1 book away from finishing the entire Percy Jackson series, and has a hard time putting the book down when he should be working on math.

The art supplies made the kids day, and for every art project we have the students are constantly making sure we have the color pencils and markers out and ready to do. The art supplies have allowed the kids to express themselves in creative ways that they had a hard time expressing without the color. Thank you doesn't seem like enough to express my gratitude, but thank you!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Peterson

This project will help my students access to a classroom library they have not had. Their previous teacher left shortly after the beginning of the school year and took everything with her, from the art supplies, to the behavior reinforce the rewards, and including the classroom library leaving these kids with a pretty empty room except for their desks in. This project will help to fill the walls of our room and make it our own but most importantly increase our class library giving students direct access to books that will help increase their experience of the world and use of their imagination through literature. The books in this project will help the students grow not only academically but allow them a space to take a step back from the crazy world we are currently experiencing into other exciting worlds. I believe books are essential to help a student grow academically and emotionally as it helps the student build on their reading skills and vocabulary. The art supplies will help the students move away from the constant computer screen assignments and allow them to express their emotions through hands-on materials. Many of my students have some form of anxiety, the sensory anxiety strips will help the students during testing, allowing them to relax and not feel as stressed while they are taking tests.
