Organization is key to a successful classroom. A well organized classroom sends a clear and positive message to students. The physical layout of a classroom is very important for creating a prosperous reading and writing environment. A well laid out classroom maximizes the space available and creates an inviting place that lends itself well to learning. It is proven that if a teacher creates a positive and organized learning environment, they also develop an efficient classroom setting alongside an emotional setting that boosts students performance. The items I have requested will help my classroom be more productive and keep things more organized. It will save time between subjects because students will know where to get there papers and supplies. I plan on using one of the organizes behind my guided reading table. I will use it for leveled books, flash cards, writing folders and games during small group instruction, and Confuring with Readers. The other one I will use for centers. Students will know exactly what to do and where to get things. The physical set-up of a classroom is important because it is the first thing a student sees when they walk in. Factors such as organized bookshelves, students tables and pocket charts and things on the wall that are place neatly, and organized create a sense on stability for the students. Please help with my classroom by making it organized and a welcoming environment where students are eager to learn.
