Current research states students with special needs can benefit from increased sensory input. The additional sensory input allows for more oxygen to flow to the brain which consequently creates more focus and alertness. By using the flexible seating options, I can give my students an extra layer of support to promote their learning. Many students need basic needs to be met at school. I know many of my students need direct instruction on shoe tying. The shoe tying kit will help me teach them this basic skill in a fun way!
