  • STEM Fun and Learning Games Make Happy, Well Rounded Children!

    Thank you SO, SO much for funding my project!! My students love doing STEM activities as well as math and reading games, but we just don’t have very many… yet!!! Classrooms always need new books, and my students who are just learning to read will definitely enjoy reading the books you are sending! They will all be so happy to have headphones and dry erase markers they can rely on day after day. I can’t wait to see them use all these tools as well as the new seating cushions for students who need other options besides sitting at their desks all the time. I’m imagining their happy smiles and all the learning and fun that will happen in our classroom because of your generosity. Many, many thanks!!!!”

My students love to learn and grow! The materials for my project will bring new life to my classroom! My struggling readers will love the early readers on their own level so they can gain confidence in their reading skills. All will benefit during math lessons to have new dry erase markers that are not dried out the next day, as well as the floor cushions for flexible seating which allows the few who need an alternative to sitting at a desk in order to do their best learning. First grade students love to create and learn through STEM activities, math games, and literacy activities that stretch their minds in ways that pencil and paper learning cannot do. These games and activities will help them enjoy school more and want to learn even more, which encourages happier, healthier children, not just academically, but emotionally and socially as well. Some of our learning is done on iPads with headphones. Each school day, we deal with a few sets of headphones that do not work, and we do our best with them! New headphones will enhance the online literacy and math programs we use, and reduce the amount of time wasted in figuring out what is wrong. Thank you so much for considering a donation to my project and to tomorrow's leaders who happen to be in first grade this year!
