We use Handwriting Without Tears materials in our classroom every day. My students love using the tiny bits of chalk to write letters on the small chalkboards. The tiny pieces of chalk reinforce an appropriate pincer-grip necessary for future writing success. It also provides a kinesthetic writing experience and builds muscle memory to write each letter. I want my students to have a successful writing experience in the comfort of their own homes. With the necessary tools, they can show Mom and Dad how they learn to write letters like an expert.
