My students need quality laboratory experiences. Online simulations, videos, and texts are not enough to really understand physics. By building circuits in the laboratory, and using these sensors to find voltage and current, my students will gain a greater understanding of electricity. My English Language Learner students have missed a lot of instruction during COVID-19. They do not have the language and technology resources to access the curriculum remotely. Therefore, I need to make sure their in-person learning is especially effective to help them recover what they have missed. Quality laboratory equipment will help ensure they learn what they need to from our in-class time together.
