During the past two years of the Covid-19 pandemic, students have struggled with using empathy at school. The Wild Robot and its sequel, The Wild Robot Escapes really help students to learn how to accept others that are different. This book follows the story of a robot and how she has to learn to survive in the wilderness. The animals learn to accept her for who she is. I think this is a great resource for my students to be able to learn how to use empathy in the real world.
