This will help students to be able to see how they can provide food and improve the environment for themselves. It also gives students a positive outlet for them to be able to have control about what is going on in their lives, at least educationally. These resources will provide more hands-on approaches to learning these students do not normally get in the classroom. I hope that by providing these learning opportunities that my students will be excited about learning and collaborating with me and other students. I also hope that it will inspire them to think about what they can do to improve gardening experiences in their own lives.
