Students will use these lab kits to explore and investigate phenomenon in small learning groups. Having tangible materials to manipulate and obsrve will make the investigation more meaningful to the students.Students will in most activities be posing questions, creating lab investigations, collecting data and analyzing their findings. Having the earthquake table will allow students to design and build structure and test them to see what the effect of Earthquake waves has on a buildings structure, supplies brings the concepts to life and allows the students to manipulate different tests and produce different outcomes as they all explore different variables, both independent and dependent in an effort to collect the necessary data that will help them gain insight as to how the concept works or what patterns it reveals leading them to a clear understanding of concepts.
