I would like to get a variety of materials to educate my students about Black History Month. This includes new books, bookmarks, and pencils. We want to make this a celebration as well as a learning experience. Working with a diverse population of students makes it imperative that we educate our kids about their own history. It is also extremely important to ensure that what they're taught is shown from various perspectives. I would love for my students to go home and talk about the lessons learned so that their families can continue the conversation.
