Wobble Stools!
Funded Dec 31, 2024When I shared the new wobble stools with my students they were so excited. They loved the color and thought this brand was very comfortable.
Wobble stools are a great tool for engagement in the classroom. While students learn and work at their desk it allows for movement, improved posture, increased core strength, increased alertness, helps reduce stress, and increased productivity.
I am so grateful to have a community that has helped funded my flexible seating projects year after year. Thanks to the generosity of donors I am just 4 wobble stools away from being able to offer every student a wobble stool for their desk!!”

Funded Dec 4, 2024We love our new flexible seating! When I first showed the students these new floors seats they were so excited. They all wanted to be the first to try them out. The excitement for them never died out, as they are still a crowd favorite. Most students would agree they are by far the most comfortable seats in the room!
Students have been using these new floor seats during independent work times. Students love to lounge in them while they read or complete different tasks. It helps break up the day so kids don't have to be in their desks all day long.
I am so grateful to have people continue to donate to my classroom year after year. It means the world to me that I have been able to build up a nice collection of flexible seating for kids to enjoy. Thank you for being apart of that!”

Technology is such a large part of my students lives and it is so exciting to be able to have the resources to incorporate it into lessons. Makey Makeys allow students to explore the world of computer science in an approach and fun way. Tools like the Makey Makey help keep school exciting and engaging. Flexible Seating for Flexible Thinkers
Funded Mar 14, 2023Thank you for supporting my flexible seating projects! The students were so excited when the new seats first arrived. In the classroom we use the seats DAILY!! There are hands down students favorite feature of our room. Flexible seating is mainly used during small group instruction, as needed in whole group instruction, and independent reading times. I find the different seats keep students focused and on task during lessons. Plus students are able to get really comfortable and cozy when we do independent reading. I hope to continue to build up my collection of flexible seating. It would be my dream to have enough seats to have a fully flexible seating classroom. I appreciate the help you've given me towards this goal! A huge thank you from me and my students.”

These different resources includes math games, crafts and worksheets related to the different content we teach. These activities added on to our grade-level curriculum. We loved getting to see students engage with math contents in different ways. Students especially loves the games! It gave students great opportunities to practice the material which the teachers loved as well. Students enjoyed how fun and interactive the games were. Plus it allowed students to practice social skills such as learning to cooperate or disagree respectfully. My team and I are so grateful for the support. Thanks for helping make math fun! =)”

Funded Apr 17, 2022THANK YOU so much for donating to my flexible seating project. Flexible seating is hands down one of the coolest part of my classroom. Thanks to the additional seating this project funded each one of my table groups has a minimum of 2 flexible seats daily. The groups are able to rotate the seating to ensure every student gets a turn.
In addition to being really cool, they are a powerful tool towards engagement. My current students where in kindergarten when our school had to shut down due to the Covid-19 pandemic. They don't know how to sit still or focus on the teacher due to lack of practice. The habits they built while on Zoom are still here. These seats have helped students be more comfortable, safely wiggle in their seats, and be more focused/engaged on daily lessons.
The seats aren't just appreciated by my students either... their parents are just as excited! They love seeing the fun seating within the classroom. I have even had parents try them out during conferences. It really shows the care and desire I have to ensure my students are successful. I am grateful for my supports that allow me to share with these families. I look forward to continuing to grow my flexible seating supply in the future!!”

Funded Apr 19, 2022Thank you for helping me share the love of reading with my classes. My students have really enjoyed the new, inclusive books that were funded through this donation. These books have provided opportunities for students to find characters that look like them in literature. The students have been able to make connects to their daily life. This is huge!
Often during our reading time students will come up and share the different connection they have made with me. One student in particular was so excited to finally see a character like her in the stories. Since moving from Jordon last Spring she had struggled to feel connected to her new home. It was powerful for her to feel seen and be able to build connection to the stories in the classroom library. For this student it was the missing puzzle piece to making her new home her own. She was inspired to bring in things from her home country into the classroom to teach her classmates.
It's wonderful seeing students share the books with one another with excitement. I am so grateful for the donation that made this possible.”
