I'm requesting literacy and art resources to help my students stay engaged during my literacy center time. Additonally, I'm requesting magnetic white board space for my students to use during whole group instruction to practice their writing skills. My students learn best in a small group environment, while they learn how to be independent and collaborative members of a learning community. I'm a new teacher and I'm doing my best to create a learning environment that is fun and welcoming for my young kindergarten students. Hands on activities are what work best for my students. For many of them, this is their first experience coming to school in person after the pandemic school closures. These items will be amazing additions to my classroom and students' literacy learning experience.
