My students engage in a variety of topics in my contemporary health course, including personal and consumer health, mental health, family social health, and human growth development. For our next lessons on Nutrition and Fitness and Substance Abuse, I thought it would be a fantastic idea to teach my students about nutrition and healthy living, followed by outdoor activities. Students benefit greatly from my course by learning how to eat healthily and exercise regularly. We will utilize the portion size puzzles to help us envision the appropriate amount of food to eat in relation to the amount of sugar in the meals we eat. My students will be able to get moving with the stop watches and game cones as they participate in a range of outdoor activities. My students will utilize the flipcharts to learn about substance misuse and how to avoid it. Then I'd like to conclude the unit with a nutritious snack, which will teach them that there are other options available while snacking.
