My students need money manipulatives to support a more concrete understanding of financial literacy.
The hands-on manipulatives will help to engage my students in real-world connections. This is my first year teaching Financial Literacy to all 3-5th graders within the district. I can use these materials year after year.
The play coins will help them with coin and bill identification. The students will practice adding money and determining which coins and bills they will need to pay for items.
The large magnet coins and bills will allow me to display each item in front of the entire class to see as they use their money kit at their chairs.
