My kids will be thrilled to see brand new graphic novels in the library, waiting for them to start a new school year! Thank you so much for helping me impact kids!”

Strengthen Young Minds
Funded Feb 24, 2022On my car, I have a sticker that reads "I hope something good happens to you today." When you fulfilled my list of non-fiction books, you were that "something good" that I wish to happen to other people... only it was happening to me! I am so thankful for your kindness. The world needs more people with hearts as large as yours.
My students were so excited when they realized we were getting some newer non fiction books. They were especially excited to see the books about the basketball players like Steph Curry and Kobe Bryant. I knew those would touch their hearts because those are the people that they look up to most!
I have loved watching their eyes light up when they see the "New Display!" packed with books, and how excited they get when they ask for a specific book and we finally have one about that topic! It has made my librarian heart soar.
Thank you for helping me light a fire inside my readers and non-readers alike. You have made my job more enjoyable and so much easier with your generosity!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Bisbee
Project: New Start
Funded Jan 20, 2022Words seem inadequate to express how thankful I am to each one of you for giving to my project. Having my project fully funded in less than a week was never something that crossed my mind, but it happened and I was able to get the books into the hands of my students this week!
The excitement in their eyes when they saw the display with all the new books on it is truly something I will never forget. They couldn't believe that people that didn't even know them, donated books to make their library better! After I introduced the display to each class, I watched them all line up to carefully look through all the books and choose the perfect one for them. After checkout, most began reading right away! It was the most amazing thing. None of that would have been possible without your generosity.
I especially loved telling my first graders about the series "The Boxcar Children." So many of them had never heard of this classic, and we decided to read it together as a class. They were mesmerized by the story and I was delighted when they told me how excited they were for their next turn in the library to read a few more chapters together! That is the power of reading. You can get lost in a good story in the blink of an eye! It is just as amazing as our youth is!”

Mrs. Bisbee
