  • Arts and Crafts During the Club

    Funded Feb 3, 2025

Thank you kindly and immensely for your generosity in these trying times when inflation is making things hard just to make ends meet.

We are extremely excited to start creating projects that will last a lifetime. On Friday February 14, 2025 Valentine's Day we will begin our knitting journey. We are going to start by knitting hearts and sharing some much needed laughs.

My students were beyond excited when I showed them all the materials and resources we received to complete some projects during the club.

I will take many pictures when we are venturing into this new phase of the club and share with you. This will give you some insight into what happens at the club and you can see the faces of students that you have helped with your generous contributions.

Once again thank you so much for your kindness and your donations to making my students happy and engaged in a cultural club.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Mulero

  • Help My Students With Some Snacks During The Club Time

    Funded Jan 13, 2025

Thank you kindly for your donations and support to our wonderful Club ADALA. The snacks help make the time that we are in the club sharing so comfortable. The students get to sit and eat the snacks. The best part there are options for them to choose from as well.

The students loved the snacks and seeing the variety made them extremely happy. the fact they get to actually snack on things they like and ask for makes everything much easier for them to bond.

The next steps are for us to share all the snacks and enjoy our time at the club. The snacks arrived at the perfect time because we are starting the second semester and are low on food.

I want to thank you immensely for all your contributions enormously.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Mulero

  • Fun During Lunch While Creating Art

    Funded Oct 19, 2024

My students and I are grateful for your generosity and your kindness.

We meet every Friday in the club to have some fun and distract ourselves from the pressure and stress of life in general.

The students will eat the snacks because the club meets during the lunch period.

They are hungry most of the time so they are greatly appreciated. We will use the rhinestones and gems to decorate some student made pillows. The students are enjoying every stone they glue and every stitch they sew and every snack they eat.

The students were delighted when they saw the materials and immediately started opening the packages and working on their project. The gems made all of them happy. The snacks fed them immediately.

I plan to continue using the materials and creating other projects that motivate my students to come to class and make memories they will cherish forever.

Thank you for making these memorable moments possible.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Mulero

  • We are Sewing for Mental Peace

    Funded Aug 12, 2024

I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous donations, which have greatly benefitted my students' well-being. Your contributions have provided essential materials and resources that create a safe environment for them to relax and de-stress.

In today's fast-paced world, our students face numerous challenges that can lead to heightened levels of stress and anxiety. Your support has enabled us to implement a weekly program where they can take a well-deserved mental break. This opportunity for "me time" is crucial, as it allows them to unwind and recharge, fostering not only their mental health but also their academic performance and overall growth.

The supplies you helped fund have made a significant difference. From sewing to jewelry making to calming materials and activities, these resources have transformed our space into a haven for relaxation and mindfulness. Your generosity ensures that we can continue providing this invaluable experience, catering to the diverse needs of our students as they navigate their daily academic and personal challenges.

Many of my students have shared how much they appreciate this time away from their regular routines. They feel refreshed and more focused after these breaks, allowing them to approach their studies with renewed energy. By supporting our students, you are investing in their future well-being and success.

Thank you once again for your kindness and commitment to enhancing our students' lives. Your donations have had a profound impact, and I am truly grateful for your support. Together, we are helping cultivate a nurturing environment where our students can thrive and develop the resilience they need to face the challenges of the future.”

    With gratitude,

  • Enjoy a Latino Club in School

    Funded Jan 26, 2024

First off thank you for making my students so happy with all the resources we have at our disposal for Club ADALA. We decided to open all the boxes and dove right in to the snacks. The club takes place during lunch time so it was fitting that they had their first bites then. The first project my students will start is journaling. They will use the notebooks to write how they feel being latino and living in the USA. They will also draw their feelings when they feel words are not enough to express what they carry inside their hearts and minds.

The students were excited when they saw the materials. We created lists of possibilities to use the resources without leaving anything untouched during the club meets.

The next steps are to share pictures with friends, families, and donors like you that make these precious moments possible for all to partake in.

Once again thank you for making this club come alive and giving us resources to use in a special place and snacks to share while we are together.”

  • Help,Club Adala (Asociación De Alumnos Latino Americanos)

    Funded Jan 3, 2024

Thank you immensely for your support and generosity. This Valentine's Day will be extra special. First off it falls on a Wednesday the day the Club meets. The plan is to sew the puppies and share a laugh while enjoying this art form. I will take pictures that day and upload them to share with you all so that you can see the fun we had that day. We will also be discussing the Roman holiday and how it is celebrated across Latin America. I will also use the laminator to laminate drawings the club members create when we are together. Once again, thank you so much for helping our students succeed!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Mulero

  • Snacks For Latino Club to Enjoy during Lunch

    Funded Nov 25, 2023

I wish everyone of you Happy Holidays and a Prosperous New Year! Thank you all for making my students so happy and excited. The students immediately grabbed the snacks and started to munch on them. They could not believe that there was kindness in this world to compete strangers. It was nice to find a teachable moment and remind them when they grow up and are professionals in different fields not to forget the schools.

They all enjoyed the chocolate, the fruit snacks, the tootsies, and the rice krispies as well. We are in the middle of a movie and the snacks came in at a perfect time. They thought they were in the movies and couldn't stop laughing which made me laugh too.

As a club our next step is to create an end of year project and post pics for others to see. Also, if any donor wants to visit the classroom our doors are open and they are more than welcomed to come in. Again I cannot thank all of you enough for your kindness and financial donation to make my students happy this holiday season. Forever grateful!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Mulero

These materials are for my students to engage in during Experiential Learning Opportunities. I want to do three workshops, each consisting of 23 students, for a total of two days. I will need a lot of materials, and I do not have the money to purchase such quantities, and the allowance we have in the school is $50 for two teachers for all sessions in total. I want to do this type of hands-on, creative activity with my students, but unfortunately, I am afraid I cannot do it if I do not have the materials. My students and I will be grateful to anyone who can donate these items or some things.
