Colorful Year
Funded Nov 8, 2022Thank you donors for you support and donations. The printer is an amazing addition to our classrooms. We now have bright and vibrant colored pictures inside and outside of our classroom. We are now able to print whatever resources we need to help motivate, engage, and enhancing the students learning, as well as our teaching inside the classroom. The pictures gear and build conversations inside the classroom with the students and teachers.
What's most exciting to the students is being able to see themselves in bright coloring prints throughout the classroom and the school. They enjoy seeing themselves and their friends pictures and the love seeing pictures of themselves completing work.
We started a new technology class where the students can now use cameras to take pictures and we will also be learning about how a printer works. Students will have the option to choose pictures they would like printed and the photos will be pictures that they personally take will exploring with the cameras.
Thank you again, your support is greatly appreciated.”

Indoor Sensory Gym
Funded Feb 9, 2022Thank you for your help and support with our indoor gym. The students are using the new resources during rain days, cold days, and during movement time. Students are able to use the materials in the classroom and outside as well. For example the stepping stones, we sometimes bring them into the classroom, if the indoor sensory room is occupied with another 3k or Pre-k class.
When the students first saw the materials in the sensory room they were super excited, I remember one student yelling and jumping up and down. He was so eager to start playing in the gym. Whenever we walked passed it, we would also stop to look inside at the progress that was being made, on our way to library.
The next steps for the indoor sensory room/ gym would be to add more materials for the students to engage with. Some next steps we would also like to do is add materials in the gym that can also relate to the units of study.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Lloyd
